Baby Seat Alarm System
In 2018, Steelmate developed China's first baby seat alarm system. It works by continuously monitoring whether the baby is in the baby seat through built-in sensors mounted under the baby seat cushion and syncing with a smartphone or cigarette lighter to alert caregivers that the child is still in the car.
On July 1, 2019, Italian law required vehicles to have a safety device that alerts drivers if a child has been left behind in the rear seat or a car seat. In the future, more and more countries are about to legislate.
As of now, Steelmate has sold more than 400,000 sets.
